Eric Bergkraut, a journalist, reporter and film director
He was born in Paris in 1957, and educated at the Drama School of Zurich. As an actor he performed in theater, television and films in Germany, Switzerland and France. Since 1988 he has been reporting for newspapers and television from all over the world. Eric Bergkraut has directed nine documentaries since 1992. The latest ones are Burst Your Limits (2002), The Flying Abbot (2003) and, finally, the 2005 documentary COCA, The Dove from Chechnya.
