He was born in Geneva in 1964, and obtained degree in Communication from the Montreal University in 1987. From 1992 to 1996 Nicolas Wadimoff worked as a director at the Swiss Television shooting documentaries in Lybia, Algeria, Palestine, Israel, Yemen Republic or Rwanda. After being one of the founders of the Caravan Production, which he co-directed from 1997 to 2002, Wadimoff created its new structure in 2003. AKKA Films engages in documentaries and long features related to society debates, questioning and reflecting the issues of the world today.
Nicolas Wadimoff has filmed features such as Clandestin s(1997), Mondialito (2000) and 15, Rue des Bains (200), as well as documentaries Alinghi, the Inside Story (2003) and Peace Agreement (2005). Wadimoff also produced the Issa Frej´s documentary The Last Supper (2005).
