Competition Section: Slovakia and Czechia for Human Rights
An international competition of Slovak and Czech feature-length documentaries, where a three-member international jury selects the winner. This section presents films that reflect pressing social issues in our region while offering a comparison of two closely connected yet distinct cinematographies – Slovak and Czech.
Each year, the competition highlights the most outstanding works from both countries, fostering discussions about their quality, intersections, and differences. It focuses primarily on socially critical and human rights themes.
