Ivan Krastev is one of the most outstanding political analysts working today and is regularly published in global newspapers such as The New York Times, The Guardian and the Financial Times. He is the author of several books, with Is It Tomorrow Yet?: Paradoxes of the Pandemic recently published in Slovakia as well (Európa a pandémia). Krastev is a leading expert on Russia, the European Union and the United States. Originally from Bulgaria and living in Vienna, he also has a good grasp of the post-communist countries and Central Europe.
On 7 November at 20.00 in Nová Cvernovka, together with journalist Martin Milan Šimečka of Denník N, he will discuss the outcome of the US presidential election, which will take place on 3 November. Whether Donald Trump remains president or is defeated by his challenger Joe Biden, the outcome of the election will have a major impact on Europe’s future.
